COVID-19 Initial Response

At the Cincinnati Dance and Movement Center, our faculty and staff are caring, ethical professionals who are dedicated to the health and well-being of all of our students and their families. In mid-March, we followed the governor’s stay-at-home order and temporarily closed our studio and ceased all tuition charges for the rest of the dance year. We also offered our students full refunds on all recital-related expenses or the option to keep payments on their accounts as a credit to be used in the fall with an additional 10% credit as a thank you. For March, April, and May, accounts were not charged while the studio was physically closed; however, our students received free instructional videos provided by our talented faculty so they could continue their dance training at home.

In April, we wanted to celebrate International Dance Day even though the stay-at-home order was in effect, so we asked our students to send in videos of themselves dancing at home and then put the clips together into this fun video.
